Sharon Sieben

Sharon Sieben is a prolific painter who works in oils, acrylics and mixed media. The next painting on her easel might be an impressionist food or floral composition in bold, splashy colors or a contemporary landscape; but figurative subjects are her preference.                                                    

She describes her training as “self taught with some under graduate college classes in Watercolor, Composition, Drawing and Perspective”. She frequently participates in workshops for Life Drawing, Portrait painting and Mixed media.skills.                                                           

Most recent endeavor is learning skills and techniques to create  ColdWax/Oil paintings.  Challenging and, at times, frustrating.  But worth it all when a layer of paint changes the entire prospective and you find that you might be on your way to a masterpiece.  Watch for them in my porfolios soon.
