Eduard Shakhnazarov is a contemporary sculptor from Georgia. He started his career as a part of the art union "Freska". During the period of 1985 to 1991 more than 40 objects of interior and exterior were designed on the territory of the USSR. After that he was working as art designer of the factory of art ceramics, with the ministry of The Culture, Monument and Architecture Protection of Georgia.
Today, he creates figurative sculptures in metal, casting, or stone, and his work is easily recognizable despite the wide range of themes (sport, music, femininity, history, and love).
Eduard Shakhnazarov was born in 1959, in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he graduated from the State Academy of Arts. He exhibited his works nationally, and they are in private collections in Russia, Greece, Georgia, Germany, Israel, USA, Armenia, Italy, UK and Turkey.
