Serena Battisti, born in Rovereto (TN) in 1958, has cultivated an interest in art in all its forms since she was a child, but it is in adulthood that she begins to dedicate herself with commitment and perseverance to the study of pictorial art. She attends various schools, studies various artistic techniques and compares herself with various teachers, but it is from the meeting with the master Albert Dedja in 2006, whose school she still attends, that her artistic path evolves decisively and makes her acquire an artistic personality well defined.

The beginnings are characterized by a live pencil painting, in which the meticulous representation of every detail stands out, where every object or human figure takes on an almost photographic appearance. After dedicating a few years also to the study of the watercolor technique, in 2006 a new and all-encompassing artistic journey begins, which will give rise to an important phase of artistic growth.

It is in this phase that his most significant works are born, which deal with social and current issues. In fact, the artist believes that art represents an important vehicle for raising awareness and awareness of contemporary issues.

Oil and acrylic colors are her main means of expression.
