Stefano Badini is a contemporary Italian artist. His education consists of both academic and self-taught aspects. He attended the artistic high school in Bergamo, where he learned the fundamentals of academic drawing, which he views as a helpful lesson to develop a reliable technique. Subsequently, he pursued linguistics and art history studies at the university. Yet Badini has always preferred to convey his innermost thoughts, visions, and passions through drawing and painting. He prefers to study the human face in all of its manifestations, attempting to convey emotions with artificial colors and stylized forms. The artist has been devoting himself for a number of years to creating fantastical creatures that are the result of his subconscious.
