Mes tableaux s'orientent vers le signe et la couleur.
Dans un premier temps, la peinture reste attachée à une certaine observation de la réalité
et petit à petit, la peinture glisse vers des points, où le monde disparaît peu à peu et où au
final n'est plus travaillé que pour elle-même.
Comme pour la photographie argentique agrandie où l'on distingue des grains, comme
pour une image digitale en format pixelisé, le pointillisme représente également la liaison
de tout.
Le "Rocher du Diamant", à la Martinique, est représenté sous une patte de crabe qui se découvre en surface
de la mer.
L’œil du crabe est aussi le sein d'une femme allongée en horizontale. Ce rocher se situe
également dans l'entre-jambe de cette femme.
Le symbole du pique assimilé à une carte de jeu fait de ce tableau une des pièces de la
série du jeu de carte autour de la Martinique. Il fait aussi référence aux jeux de hasard.
Les couleurs utilisées sont le blanc, le blanc jauni, le rouge de cadmium et le noir.
Ces couleurs sont utilisées comme transcendance, comme le commencement.
Le blanc et le rouge marquent la confrontation et la fin des hostilités.
Le noir n'est qu'une forme d'expression où j'associe l'élégance, l'humilité et l'austérité.
Ce sont également des couleurs d'affiche frappante où le message principal est lu et vu.

Sarah Agathe Salomon is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans a wide range of artistic practices, from painting (acrylic, oil, ink, watercolor) to collage, including drawing (pastel, chalk, charcoal, blood ...), pyrography (on wood, glass...), sculpture, video, sound and performance, photography (film and digital), sewing, tattooing, scenography and product design.

Listed at the Maison des Artistes and the ADAGP, Sarah Agathe Salomon received Exceptional Creative Assistance in 2017 from the Department of Cultural Affairs of Martinique. Her academic background includes a Master 1 in Art Therapy and a Master 1 in Fashion Design/Model Design/Couture. She also obtained a Master 2 in Visual Arts at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Bi-Master 1 in Psychology at the University of Vincennes Paris VIII. His training also includes a preparatory year for applied arts at ESAT HOURDE.
Sarah Agathe Salomon began her journey as a professional artist in 2006, registering with the Maison des Artistes and the ADAGP. Since then, she has participated in numerous exhibitions in France, Martinique, and internationally, notably in Paris, Berlin, Monaco, and La Baule. Her diverse artistic work continues to explore the richness of artistic expression through a variety of media and techniques, while engaging the public in reflection on identity, difference and artistic encounter.
