Inspired by a very dear friend who passed away far too young. She was in love with nature and my minds eye image of her is of her walking into a clearing within a forest where the sunlight is shining through. She looks back and waves goodbye.
She always supported me in my art work wanted me to succeed. The painting represents the path through the forest with bluebells to one side and the bright intense light paving the way to another level of love and life.

I graduated from the University of the West of England in 1990 with a BA Hons in Ceramics. I arrived in France in 2001 and proudly took French nationality in 2018.

I create unique pieces of animal art using my love of the natural world. I’ve always had animals in my life and am a keen observer of the wildlife around me. My passion brings sculptures to life revealing their unique characters using careful observation and facial expressions. A slight incline of the head, a sparkle to the eyes makes the difference between a stiff model and an expressive magical work of art. I like connecting with my subject and bringing out the emotions for my audience to enjoy.
