Sandra Platas Hernández is a Spanish based fine art photographer. She was born and raised in Madrid but obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Photography in Edinburgh, Scotland. Sandra lived there for nearly ten years where she did not only grow as an artist but also as a person. She had traveled to multiple countries, where she had the opportunity to develop her style by her life experiences and travels.
From an early age, she has been interested in arts in general, from ceramics and crafting to
painting and photography. Soon, she became obsessed with beauty. She only wants to show, create and find beauty everywhere and in anyone. But at the same time, life and death are also present in her work. Creating situations was and still is what she enjoys the most. Her work stands out for her ability to subvert the ordinary to a beautiful and unique.
