Salvatore Cocca is a contemporary Italian painter. Through his "Interior" series of work, Cocca looks for places that might satisfy his restless and reassuring needs. Surreal but also recognizable images, a feeling of melancholy and loneliness mixed with bright colors, light reflections, and shadows that suggest abandonment, restlessness, and serenity. Without giving up the imagination and originality of painting, the artist recalls the immediateness and accuracy of the photographic image with tremendous skill and technical competence.
