Roy Wrenn, a contemporary American painter, has consistently sought to express himself visually throughout his life, transitioning from "picture-rich" marketing presentations to acrylic and oil paintings.

His artistic journey began with early art lessons, serving as a stress reliever during the initial stages of his career. Roy studied under John Squadra at the Rowayton Art Center and received guidance from various artists at the Silvermine Guild. However, the demands of corporate activities and raising a family temporarily slowed down his artistic expression.

Now retired, after spending six years in the Merchant Marine and 35 years in a corporate environment, Roy has redirected his focus to using acrylics or oils. His paintings capture places and activities that evoke feelings of peace or provide a sense of escape. Whether portraying an old homestead that symbolizes simplicity, a serene mountain retreat, or the freedom of sailing with the wind, these scenes serve as his visual influences.

Roy Wrenn is an active member of the Glastonbury Art Guild and the Marlborough Art Center. His artwork is currently showcased at Images Gallery in Briarcliff Manor, New York, offering viewers a glimpse into his artistic exploration of tranquil and nostalgic landscapes.
