Ron has over 20 years of experience capturing the natural world of stunning landscapes, enchanted waterfalls and wildlife in their natural environments. His training is a combination of both formal and informal classroom instruction, and in the field workshops where he has refined his photographic skills. This training has resulted in numerous local, regional and national photographic awards.
Having an aesthetic eye, as one of Ron’s mentors taught him, is the ability to create photographic images that capture expression, have excellent composition and are unique is some way. This only comes with education and practice, something he does on a daily basis.
Understanding the technical side of photography is about understanding light and how light forms the basis for capturing a great image. That is why Ron is always learning about the technical aspects of photography, be it through formal classes or reading photo blogs or photo magazines......He learns something new everyday!
