Descrizione:

Description:
Sometimes I sketch something that I don't understand the meaning at the beginning... When I painted the image of this family looking towards the other side of the river, I was not yet aware of the cult of the Mizuko kuyo or water children. I was surprised and touched to discover that the Mizuko kuyo in Japanese culture represents the spirits of unborn children unable to cross the river, because the demons prevent them from getting on the boat that leads beyond. Parents' prayers are often addressed to Jizō, a divinity who destroys demons and saves the little ones from their state of sadness and misery.

Hi, I'm Romina Rosati.
I'm a Italian contemporary artist and I love art in all its facets.
I was born in 1975, I studied and worked as a sculptor, as a goldsmith and as an architect, but what makes me happiest in life is painting.
Painting has accompanied me all my life: is the passion that I can not resist!
I love graphics, drawing, colors maybe before I start talking.
It's still the way I prefer to express myself today.
My style has changed over the years as I have changed as everything around us changes. I am happy how I'm today,
I have a serenity that I haven't before and I think I can transmit it through my works.
