Artistic approach of Mr Raphaël Minot says " Waban"
I fell into the world of art somewhat by chance,
convinced that everyone was interested in sculpture.
I embarked on this adventure with passion, enthusiasm and curiosity only to realize in the end that absolutely no one was interested...
But I I continued anyway because I found immense pleasure in it.
I also had the impression that I had a message to convey, to myself and to humanity but I cannot define it precisely.
Sculpture is always linked to the social context in which it is produced.
Of course, there will always be a difference between a minimalist sculptor, a sculptor inspired by the realistic style of the 19th century or even a surrealist sculptor. For my part it's abstract art
All these movements are only more or less complicated considerations about reality, because what we think, touch, feel is always drawn from reality.
I believe that my thinking is political, and this politicization permeates my sculpture in one way or another.
But I does not try to convey a unambiguous message.
Let's say I use hope, drama or exchange as a base and I sculpt on top.
To what extent this is reflected in the final result is for the viewer to say.
