He works in the field of reportage, following the development of anti-globalisation movements, the conditions of Zapatista refugees in Mexico, and the lives of Palestinian civilians, as well as conducting photographic research on Eastern European migrant women known as "carers."
Roberto Brancolini is a Modena native.
