The Brazilian artist Pinc graduated in arts from FAAP, Faculdade Armando Alvares Penteado, and has been dedicated to ceramics since the 1990s. Seduced by design and art, she develops pieces with unique designs, influenced by the works of artists Evandro Carlos Jardim, Amelia Toledo, Ubirajara Ribeiro, Carlos Fajardo and Regina Silveira. The main characteristic of her work is to use a contemporary language combined with artisanal work, with original graphics that do not repeat themselves, that is, they are unique and exclusive pieces. Each work is turned and engraved by hand, one by one and fired at a high temperature. Pinc lives and works in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ceramic art is art made from ceramic materials, including clay. It may take varied forms, including artistic pottery, including tableware, tiles, figurines and other sculpture. As one of the plastic arts, ceramic art is a visual art. While some ceramics are considered fine art, such as pottery or sculpture, most are considered to be decorative, industrial or applied art objects.
