Une visite à l' « East Side gallery » du mur de Berlin lui permit de ramener de nombreux clichés de graffs. Une visite à la fondation Helmut Newton de Berlin lui donna l’idée de nus provocants. Mêlant les graffs aux nus, il en fit les odalisques de Berlin : « Berlin's Odalisks »....
