Als ich ein Kind war, sah ich diese Mönche einmal im Fernsehen und schon damals haben sie mich fasziniert. Das hat sich bis heute nicht geändert. Ich habe mich nur mehr damit beschäftigt.
"Mevlana" wurde mit Acrylfarben auf Leinwand gemalt. Das Bild ist signiert, datiert, nummeriert und schlussfixiert.
"Mevlana" - a synonym for dancing monks, for Konya, for Turkey.
When I was a child I saw these monks in tv for the first time. From this time on I was fascinated of these monks. The fascination has never changed until now. I only learned little more about Mevlana.
"Mevlana" was made with acrylic on canvas. The work is signed, dated, numbered and finally fixed.

Ich bin 1965 in Oberstdorf im Oberallgäu geboren.
Nach vielen Umwegen und einigen Irrwegen bin ich nach meinem Studium in Fürth, Mittelfranken, gelandet, wo ich heute lebe und arbeite.
Gezeichnet habe ich schon immer gerne. Mit mehr Ernsthaftigkeit habe ich es aber erst ungefähr ab meinem 13. Lebensjahr gemacht.
Über die Seidenmalerei bin ich erst zur Aquarellmalerei und später zur Acrylmalerei gekommen.
Heute sehe ich diese Malarten in meinem Leben gleichberechtigt und praktiziere sie alle mit grösstem Vergnügen. Welches medium ich auswähle, hängt immer von dem ab, was ich ausdrücken will. Alle haben für mich ihren eigenen besonderen Reiz.
