Ich fange ein Bild an und entscheide nach jedem Pinselstrich den nächsten usw. Allerdings muß ich sagen, das mich meine Bilder oft an Natureindrücke und verblasste bzw. zersetzte Oberflächen von etwa alten Gebäuden, Straßen etc. erinnern.
Für das Auftragen der Farben benutze ich stets unterschiedliche Hilfsmittel. Also Pinsel, Spachtel, Finger etc.
Meist sind die Bilder in unterschiedlichen Schichten entstanden. Ich liebe farbenfrohe Bilder, mag aber auch sehr reduzierte Malereien.

Ich male auf einem Karton, der speziell für Acrylmalerei entwickelt wurde. Er ist säurefrei, farbecht und sehr licht-und alterungsbeständig.

Die Bilder sehen sehr schön mit einem schmalen weißen oder grauen Rahmen aus. Ohne Verglasung.

Nachdem ich mehr als 20 Jahre als Mode - und Portraitfotograf gearbeitet habe, fing ich an mit Farben zu experimentieren und abstrakte Acrylbilder zu malen. 

Bereits während der Fotografie realisierte ich diverse kreative Fotoprojekte zum Thema Anwendung unterschiedlicher Materialien sowie die Arbeit mit 

digitalen Veränderungen. Ich hatte immer schon großes Interesse an Bildern und besuchte bereits als Kind sehr gerne Museen und Austellungen. Insbesondere der Kontakt zur Hamburger und Berliner Kunstszene hat mein kreatives Wesen geformt.  

Ich liebe es neue Techniken auszuprobieren und immer wieder Dinge am Bild zu verändern. Meist lasse ich ein Bild tagelang liegen und arbeite parallel an mehreren Bilder bis ich dann wirklich entscheide, das es fertig ist. 

Meine Inspirationen bekomme ich sehr häufig durch lange Spaziergänge in der Natur. Insbesondere Wasser, Wolken und die Oberflächen von alten Gebäuden finde ich sehr anziehend. 

Ich male in Farbe, weil Farbe für mich Leben bedeutet. Jede Farbe hat eine andere Bedeutung und jede Farbkonstellation genauso. Farben geben Kraft und Energie. Ich hoffe dies mit meinen Bildern auszudrücken.
