Patrick Williamson is an active poet and translator, who is also noted in the field of photography and artistic collaborations. Born in 1960, he lives and works in Le Mesnil-le-Roi, France.
His artistic career is marked by a diversity of achievements and participation in remarkable creative projects. As a photographer, he put together a series entitled "George V metro series", a visual exploration of the George V metro station in Paris. This series, along with other photographic works, demonstrates his ability to capture urban life and capture meaningful moments.
In 2022, Patrick Williamson took part in the "Paris Lit Up" exhibition, highlighting his artistic contribution through photography. Furthermore, his series entitled "Heat" was exhibited during the "2nd International Biennial" in Prijedor, thus highlighting his artistic influence beyond national borders.
His artistic commitment is not limited to photography, since he has also created film poems such as "Afterwords" and "Exile", presented at the Scottish International Film Festival (FIFE) in 2014. These creations demonstrate his desire to explore artistic mediums in a diverse way.
In collaboration with Transignum, Patrick Williamson has contributed to the creation of limited editions of artists' books, including "Amsterdam" (with Gianne Harper), "Rougement" (with Sergiu Zancu) and "Self-effacing" (with Marilena Preda Sanc).
