Patrick Huber is a contemporary German painter renowned for his distinctive artistic vision and innovative approach to the medium. Born in Mannheim, he currently resides and works in Berlin, where he has established himself as a leading figure in the city's vibrant art scene. Huber's artistic journey began with formal education in fine art at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, where he honed his skills and developed a unique artistic voice.
Throughout his career, Huber has garnered acclaim for his evocative solo exhibitions, which offer viewers an intimate glimpse into his creative process and thematic preoccupations. Notable among these exhibitions are "love in idleness" at toolbox, Berlin in 2022, "Ornament as" at www Galerie, Frankfurt (Oder) in 2021, and "there is no place like home" at Kunstverein Viernheim in 2018.
In addition to his solo endeavors, Huber has also participated in numerous group exhibitions both nationally and internationally, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and versatile artist. Highlights from the past five years include exhibitions such as "B-LA CONNECT" at the Torrance Art Museum in Los Angeles and "Särkyvää / Fragile" at the Old Glass Factory Riihimäki in 2022, "Berlin Artists" at Centrul de Interes in Cluj/Romania in 2021, and "Don’t lean out" at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Novi Sad/Serbia in 2020.
Huber's work is characterized by a bold use of color, dynamic compositions, and a keen exploration of themes ranging from identity to the human condition. His paintings often blur the line between abstraction and representation, inviting viewers to contemplate the complexities of the world around them. As a member of the German Artists' Association and with his works represented in public collections such as the Berlinische Galerie, Huber continues to make a significant impact on the contemporary art landscape, pushing boundaries and challenging conventions with each new artistic endeavor.
