About Patrick Hager
Patrick Hager was born in 1982 in Erfurt (Germany), is married and father of four children. He works as a blog author and digital artist. Since his childhood, nature, information technology, photography and - influenced by some impressive, meditative experiences - spirituality and psychedelic art have exerted a tremendous attraction on him. With his art he follows an inner voice: his intuition.
Working method
Patrick Hager's paintings are mainly created on the computer. Thus, since the introduction of Google's DeepDream in 2015, he has been using artificial intelligence to alienate photos or have it "dream up" completely new images. As AI modelling techniques matured over time, Patrick can now choose from a large pool of tools to create his artworks.
Style
Patrick's style is based on classical "visionary art", which is inspired by spiritual and mystical experiences. He creates surreal, dreamlike worlds full of bizarre beauty in which you can lose yourself or feel strangely connected to.
