Patrick Cornée joined the navy at 16, encouraged by a career military father. He quickly stood out for his unique personality, and after six years of sailing around the world, he returned to civilian life.

The greatest upheaval of his life is, paradoxically, a return to childhood: he remembers his early passion for drawing and his joy at the idea of ​​recreating the world in his own way. He then shatters his gloomy routine and enrolls in fine arts in Toulon. A brilliant jack of all trades, he works with painting and engraving, collage and spray cans…

His boundless enthusiasm is based on the great work discipline that he retained from his life as a sailor. Full of this vital momentum of a rediscovered childhood, he sails from one style to another and develops a joyful and colorful pictorial language where themes such as dance, music, parties and fashion mingle triumphantly.

Her multifaceted universe is populated by slender, twirling ballerinas, mocking dogs and icons inspired by pop art. Painter of carefreeness, he wants to show “how rich life is in beauty and love”. His paintings are full of nods to the contemporary world which he observes with humor but always with kindness.

He participates in numerous exhibitions across Europe, the United States and Asia, where his paintings, like so many echoes of his joie de vivre, appeal to the most diverse audiences.
