Derrière ce terme générique « enfant soldat », se cache une dure réalité. Qu’ils soient témoins des conflits ou forcés d’y prendre part, ces enfants et adolescents sont avant tout des victimes : Privés de leurs droits et de leur enfance, ils subissent les lourdes conséquences physiques et psychologiques de cet enrôlement… quand ils ne sont pas tués.
Description : Sur un fond bleu au premier plan, un enfant un genou a terre, torse nu, chapeau sur la tête. Ses bras sont levés, une main tient un ours en peluche avec un trou rouge dans la poitrine. Son autre main pointe un doigt vers le ciel. Il a une mitrailleuse en bandoulière. AKA-47, une Kalachnikov. Il pleure et implore le ciel. C'est un jeune enfant soldat très en colère puisqu'une balle a tuée son ours en peluche. peluche - allégorie, guerre, victime, enfant de la guerre.
