Patrick Mévellec is a multi-talented artist who has explored various artistic techniques throughout his career. His passion for charcoal drawing led him to participate in numerous exhibitions and competitions, winning several prizes, including the special jury prize at the Salon du Littoral in Trégunc in 2007 and first prize in the charcoal category at the "Couleurs de Brittany" in 2007. He has also exhibited his works in different galleries and exhibition venues in Brittany.
From the summer of 2008, Patrick broadened his artistic horizons by exploring a new technique based on Indian ink and color washes, followed by the use of watercolor inks. He continued to exhibit his works in various places and won several awards, including first prize in the watercolor and colored inks category at "Couleurs de Bretagne" in Auray in 2009.
However, Patrick faced health problems which forced him to suspend his artistic activity for several years starting in 2011. In 2015, he discovered a new passion for photography, focusing particularly on photography. macro, highlighting the beauty of marine details such as shells, seaweed, rusty objects and shipwrecks.
Patrick Mévellec continued to exhibit his work, both in painting and photography, showing his continued commitment to art despite the challenges he faced. His artistic career is a reflection of his creativity and his perseverance in the search for new forms of artistic expression.
