Brief description of artworks.
My paintings explore the relationship of mass and the individual in context to their time and space.
They are cerebral in nature and also deeply concerned with the material application and space arrangements within the frame. The experimental application of acrylic paints on the canvas generates a unique visual sensation and gives us a feeling of printed surfaces. Visual elements owe to the imaginative as well as the real world.
Simplified and lucid folk forms are used quite frequently, which relates our time to its cultural tradition.
