Directly opposite my entrance, I built a grocery store, a shed for storing empty boxes. Right in the middle of the lawn. Such a gnarled, strange green, and absolutely not decorating the yard. Directly opposite my entrance, I built a grocery store, a shed for storing empty boxes. Right in the middle of the lawn. Such a gnarled, strange green, and absolutely not decorating the yard. The yard was old, there were a lot of trees, and as we do, there are many fruit trees: apple trees grew in the yard, apricots, mulberries. And then I return home somehow and see - the apricots have bloomed! Two trees side by side, almost in an embrace. In the harsh and unstable spring sun, the trunks seem dark red, and you can see how juices flow through them and, flying up, they are looking for something to splash out. And there is so much passion in this, so much pressure, such an excess of energy, beauty, that it is simply necessary not to suffocate, not to choke on your own juice, your thirst for embodiment! And next to this shed there is nothing. And these magnificent branches, strewn with tenderly pink flowers in a heap, lie on its roof, pouring out their love, sharing everything they can share.

Kizub Olha, Painter.
Born in 1968 in Kiev. In childhood, if there was not enough paper or inspiration required other expressive means, I painted on the walls: at the piano, behind carpets.
I started going to the ArtStudio at the DSC at the age of 7 on my own, which surprised the teacher and, especially, my parents. At the age of 13 I entered the school of arts named by Zhukovsky (then school number 6). But I did not enter the art institute - because I was very worried that a little life experience at 17 would not give food for paintings. I received two higher education. Basic - KPI, electrical engineer, red graduate degree and postgraduate study. Fate turned the wheel again, and the years of Perestroika passed in the cooperative movement and the study of philosophy and psychology (St. Petersburg, social psychology).
And in 2000, I suddenly realized that everything was ready to draw. I came to my friend Lena Kirdina (teacher of painting and composition at the institute), she lent me a pair of old brushes and canvases ... After a year, the galleries of Kiev took over my works.
In 2005 The painting "Song of Solveig" won the Grand Prix at the exhibition of young artists of Ukraine, and "Music of Sphears" - People's Choice Award.
In 2007 The first personal exhibition took place in the NEF Gallery, Kyiv-Pechersk`s Lavra.
In 2016 second personal exhibition in the gallery MYTETS, Gallery of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 2018 - the third personal exhibition in the gallery HOUSE of PICTURES.
2019 - big personal exhibition in the Museum of Kyiv`s History.
Also I took part in many group exhibitions in different galleries in different years, the paintings were exhibited in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, from 2019 are on permanent exposition at the GAMMA gallery (the best gallery in Kiev according to Vancouver).
In addition to easel painting (mostly oil on canvas), I have also did monumental works: Mediterranean landscapes with a total area of 22.5 sq. m, disco dynamic paintings about 80 sq. m.
My works are in private collections in Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, Hamburg, Berlin, Warsaw, Stocholm, Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Moscow, Riga, Vilnius, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Brovary.
I love to sing, I write poems. I love music very much - many pictures are drawn precisely based on the concerts, symphonies.
