Olga Soldatova

Olga Soldatova is a Ukrainian artist from Odessa, was born in 1980. She works with different techniques: watercolor, oil, acrylic. She paints on different surfaces: paper, canvas, walls, wood and even on tree hollows of the trees, which made her popular on TV, radio and newspapers. She is one of the founders and promoter of a new kind of art - #NatureArt. It's similar to street-art, but here nature and art are harmonically intertwined and complemented together.

Olga Soldatova is a member of the Urbansketchers Ukraine group in Odessa and was developing urbansketching in Torrevieja, Spain. She is a participant and a finalist of international exhibitions, competitions and pleinairs. She actively participates and organizes joint exhibitions, events, pleinairs both in her hometown and during joint trips.

Events and exhibitions: 

-May 2019 participation in a project representing Ukraine at Venice Biennale ” The Shadow of Dream cast upon Giardini della Biennale”
-June 2019 participation in International Festival of the watercolor miniature MiniWatercolor Kyiv
-August 2019 participation in express exhibition of Odessa urban sketchers in the open air in Shevchenko park
-October 2019 participation in exhibition of Odessa urban sketchers at Prostranstvo at Donskogo
 -October 2019 participation at charity dinner of Monsters, Inc with real time painting and charity auction of the paintings

- November 2019 – Art-trip to Wroclaw, Poland (active sketching in travelling)

2020 – Participant of the International watercolor festival “Our Wonderful World” Ukraine/Poland

2020 - Finalist and special prize winner of the International watercolor contest and festival “Step by step”. Poland

August 2020 - participation in an exhibition and demonstration a master class as part of the Urbansketchers project at the Charity Market, organized by the SovaFest agency in Odessa.

September 2020 - participation in an exhibition and market at the MuseumFest at the Green Theater in Shevchenko Park as part of the Urbansketchers project, Odessa

November 2020 – Participation in international watercolor festival and biennale  “Sea Aquarelle” in Odessa

2021 – finalist of the International watercolor contest and festival “Step by step”. Poland

June 2022 – Participation in an exhibition “Urban sketchers Oldenburg –Odessa”, Germany Oldenburg

November 2022 – Participation in International Watercolor Festival “Freedom”, Ukraine

March 2023 - Participation in International Watercolor Festival in Cordoba, Spain

April 2023 -  Participation in International Watercolor Festival Fabriano Aquarello in Bologna, Italy

May 2023 -  Participation in International Watercolor Festival in Urbino, Italy
