Les couleurs sont fabriquées à partir de plantes et de minéraux collectés au Bénin.
Le bleu indigo (la couleur de fond de l'oeuvre) est issu du premier jus d’une feuille d'un arbre du Bénin. Avec le second ou le troisième jus l'artiste obtient le vert et le bleu ciel. Les jaunes sont issus d’un mélange du jus de la noix de cola et du jus de fruit de baobab et également de la terre rouge du village de l’artiste dilué avec le jus de baobab. La couleur orange est extraite de la noix de cola pilée. Le rouge provient d’un mélange jus de cola, d’un minéral réduit en poudre et du jus de baobab.

Olga is a painter born in 1975 in Bénin. She lives and works in Benin. . Her grandmother taught him about the techniques of dyeing with natural colors, such as indigo. After a training in sewing, Olga specialized mostly in the fabrication of batiks with a unique style. She transmits the culture coming from her country, her customs and her ancestral stories. Each one of her pieces weave a story that she tells us in her maternal tongue, Fon. Her batiks convey a universal message about African life and are reflected in her paintings. The reiteration of certain motifs illustrates surrealist, complex and impressionistic combinations. Her pieces create interferences with love, the relationships between men and women.
