The author of this canvas depicts a woman who decided to end the evening in splendid isolation. The woman is looking at herself in the mirror, her gaze is intent and serene, she enjoys her own company, her lips still have bright lipstick from an unforgettable day in the company of friends
The woman's long fingers tell us that she might be a pianist who plays every evening in a restaurant for her admirers and guests of the establishment. But today she put all her business aside and enjoys a quiet evening.
The woman`s gaze is slightly detached and slightly tired, her mind requires rest and today she will get it, since she will have a long night with wine, romantic movies and a view of the night city.
