The sculptural composition "Adam and Eve" belongs to the series of bronze miniatures "Bronze Stories". The plot of this work is based on the biblical myth of Adam and Eve, who, in violation of the law of God, ate the forbidden fruit. This work captures the moment when their crime was only revealed. It can be seen from the characteristic position of the body of Eve, who turned away ashamed of her act, and from the gestures of Adam, who transfers all the blame for what they had done to Eve. Meanwhile, the snake tempter reincarnated into a small worm sticking out of an apple.

Oleg Kalashnik was born in 1977, in Ukraine, where he graduated from Kharkiv Art School and Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.
