Oksana DVORNITCHENKO was born in 1985 in Ukraine, in the city of Donetsk. After school, she managed to enter the theater institute to take courses and training as a dramatic actress. After completing this training, she played several dramatic roles on the stages of the Donetsk theater.

It was there that she began photographing the backstage atmosphere of the theater and took several photographic portraits of the actors who came to play in Donetsk. In addition to photography and her acting performances on stage, she produces several video shoots of shows and concerts. After the events in Donbass, Oksana decides to leave her hometown and finds refuge in Moscow. For several years she has photographed wedding and baptism ceremonies in an Orthodox church. His series of photographs transport us to a very particular timeless species. Oksana DVORNITCHENKO has been selected to be a candidate for the Eastern Photographic Awards competition in 2024. The results will be known at the end of the year.
