In this serie Natalie Otalora uses social media, brand awareness and consumerism combined it with a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld and his amazing work as as the creative director of the French High fashion house Chanel. Natalie feels a great admiration for both The designer and Chanel as a brand, therefore most of her works take this as a main point of inspiration.
Besides this she wants to make an emphasis on how social media has become much more than a trend. It's become an essential part of the fabric of modern society. It's hard to overestimate how much of an impact social media now has on our world. This is true on many levels, such as the way we socialize, the way we gain access to information, the way we do business and the way we consume brands.
