Nadezhda Gellmundova was born in Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan, in 1975. Since childhood, she was fond of various fields of creativity. Drawing, pottery, crochet, sewing, ikebana and more. Over time, she came to oil painting. As part of her self-education, she studied books by American, Russian and Czech authors.

Nadezhda's art is versatile. She creates both realistic landscapes and portraits and fantastic paintings. While working, he uses brushes, palette knives, and sometimes fingers. He works in a smooth and pasty technique.

“My work is an endless adventure. Some paintings show the beauty of nature, architecture, people around us, black and white emphasize the purity of lines and forms. Others make you think about inner feelings and the fragility of life and relationships.
