I was born in Bordeaux on December 2, 1958. My father gave me my first box of colored pencils. It may seem trivial but for me it's very symbolic... As a child, I spent hours watching the artists draw with chalk on the sidewalks of Bordeaux. Their drawing shone in the sun and when the rain fell on it the colors gradually mixed and ended up like a rainbow in the middle of the street. I believe that at this moment my soul as an artist revealed itself. Then I never stopped looking for this indefinable feeling of happiness and I only find it when I paint. Calling beauty in all its forms. Praying and listening to music during my creations are sources of inspiration for me.
I followed an artistic path. I started by working in haute couture and then went on to train as a restorer of paintings, which allowed me to acquire a basis in art history as well as than different pictorial techniques which today are very precious to me.
From Rembrandt to Chardin to the Impressionists and the Cubists ... All have inspired my painting.
My painting is intended to be abstract, expressive, colorful, I can also be inspired by darker backgrounds reminiscent of chiaroscuro... However, I can also use India ink or acrylics on paper.
My paintings are the reflection of my interior images and it makes me feel better. #039;sometimes accompany them with poetry.
I sell my paintings to private clients and art lovers.
