Déclaration d’amour à l’urbex et aux témoignages nostalgiques du passé. Le monde sous-marin illustre bien le temps qui coule et avale les images de la vie courante. La technique employée a pour but de faire ressentir l’environnement liquide et d’embarquer le regard du spectateur dans des couches successives de transparences.
Le support est un papier d’art 300 gr enduit, la peinture acrylique est combinée avec de nombreux médiums afin de l’allonger, l’étirer, et de peindre en couches successives transparentes. Un des médiums est d’ailleurs créé par mes soins. Le tout est recouvert d’un vernis laque pour une brillance poussée et pour faire ressortir la profondeur.
À noter que l’œuvre originale est difficilement photographiable et que l’observation directe offre évidemment une satisfaction supérieure.
