C'est un diptyque, constitué de deux panneaux libres de même taille.
La technique mixte associe grès, pigments, dorure, encres et acrylique.
Ces deux toiles peuvent s'accrocher librement l'une par rapport à l'autre.
Elles constituent un ensemble uniquement par résonance.
L'envie de travailler "à l'envers du temps" m'est venue d'expériences très émouvantes sur des lieux archéologiques dont toutes les matières constituantes étaient pétries de vies humaines accumulées et compressées dans un substrat riche d'émotions et de beautés figées dans les mutations du temps.
Opus 1 et 2 :
Expérience de l'art comme une trace déposée au fil du temps dans les couches accumulées de la matière corrodée dont se sont constituées les "colonies humaines" au coeur de la nature. Expériences de la quête du feu, de l'expression de ses émotions et du témoignage furtif de son passage dans le grand spectacle du monde vivant, le tout enfoui dans le magma des alluvions, des cendres et des sables. L'art comme un palimpseste permanent d'infimes graffitis inscrits dans la gangue du temps.
