I have always liked to express myself on canvas and paper since 5 years of age, being self taught, it was not until 1989 I really had the emotional security, need and desire to truly focus on my painting. I just love working with acrylics, with its vivid colors I can create what I see around me – THE BEAUTY OF LIFE- I grew up and was educated in Stockholm, Sweden, and New York, those experiences and the ups and downs of my life, left me lasting impressions, that shaped my direction in life, It taught me to trust my inner self, as an artist, and as a human being. Every chance I have, I try to travel and experience life from an observers perrspective. To experience first hand, people and their cultures, architectures and culinary treats. This gives me great inspiration for my current and future works of art. The Marquis Collection was created for this reason.
