This artwork is from «Hidden Portraits» series. The abstract portrait was done in blue and emerald hues with crimson accents. The portrait dissolves into the picture, merging with the decorative elements of the background. The inspiration for the creation of this artwork was the creations of French artist Paul Cesar Helleu (1859-1927) who painted elegant and sophisticated ladies in voluminous beautiful hats.

This artwork was selected to be displayed on one of the two 86" 4K screens during «Casa Del Arte» Exibition, Palma de Mallorca, Spain ( October 24 - November 5, 2022 ).

«Woman Wearing a Feathered Hat» - original, one of a kind handmade artwork. Singed, titled, and dated on the back. The certificate of authenticity of the painting is included. The backsides of the picture are painted black, the frame is not required or optional. Once the artwork was purchased, I will install a hanging hook on the backside. The artwork ships ready to hang. Mariia Raskin is a contemporary award-winning abstract painter based in Turkey. She is filled with the energy of delight from the infinitely large universe, the splendor of nature, and the joy of life, which she lovingly expresses in her paintings, whether they are abstract landscapes or portraits. Her method of painting, which combines acrylic and glass paints, enables her to realize certain concepts and create uncommon and rich color palettes. She creates the dramatic juxtaposition of energy and peace in her artworks using broad volumetric palette knife strokes with painstaking subtle details drawing.
Mariia Raskin was born in 1979, in Kazakhstan. She graduated from the Textile University, Department of Fine Arts in Moscow, Russia, and Triphon Icon Painting School in Moscow, Russia.
