My paintings reflect my current interest in the movement and visual effects of wind and cloudscapes, as inspired by chapters 36-38 of the Book of Job, and by Psalm 104.   The theater of churning cloud formations that style and animate late afternoon Florida sky visually inform my concept.  These themes manifest a backdrop for elements of fantasy and, sometimes, gentle humor.  Wind, light, and color elements stretch beyond what is naturally possible, and sometimes become a playground for common animals who also shed their natural limitations.  

I am primarily self-taught, and favor acrylics, occasionally mixed with watercolor pencils, pencil and ballpoint pen.  My white-dominant environments frame careful use of a bright, ornamental palette.
