The collection of works created by Maria Furlan Bellis brings together only a few of the over 1000 works embroidered with a pedal machine by the artist. His artistic career, which began at the end of the eightieth year of life, boasts numerous collaborations and various exhibitions in the Italian national territory. She was inspired by many artists from the Renaissance to Modern Art (Abstract), making various designs with details reinterpreted by her. He has also created freely chosen subjects mainly of a naturalistic nature linked to his own experience in the countryside and in the rural environment.
During his artistic career he has held many conferences in the Triveneto area, especially in the Marca Trevigiana. Many works have been donated to various charities. Over the years he has received several awards and honors for his art.
His drawings were made with a pedal sewing machine dated 1947 which implied a continuous change of the cotton thread, effectively working on the superimposition of colors to obtain nuances and contrasts.
