Ich wurde 1940 in Aleppo, Syrien geboren. Nach dem Abitur 1957 siedelte ich nach Deutschland über und studierte Ingenieurwissenschaften mit Promotionsabschluss 1968. Meine Berufstätigkeit bei Behörde, Universität und Privatwirtschaft umfasste auch eine Tätigkeit als Lehrbeauftragter im Fachbereich für Kunst- und Werkerziehung an der Universität Mainz von 1971 bis 1978. Seit 1990 lebe und arbeite ich als Künstler im Var, Südfrankreich (Golf von Saint-Tropez, Toulon).
Mit den gewählten Techniken - unter Einsatz von Acryl, Sand, Pigmente, Glas, Glassplitter, Seidenpapier- verfolge ich in Gemälden, Mosaiken sowie Installationen meine künstlerischen Ziele. Meine künstlerische Inspiration schöpfe ich aus Begegnungen mit Menschen und mit Musik.
In den 90er Jahren begann für mich eine rege Ausstellungstätigkeit im In- und Ausland. Meine Werke befinden sich in privaten und öffentlichen Sammlungen und Museen.
