This work is an assemblage.Assemblage is a medium or form similar to collage,but collage is two-dimensional and assemblage is three-dimensional.The origin of the word dates to early 1950's,when Jean Dubuffet created a series of collages of butterfly wings,which he titled "Assemblages d'impreintes".But Marcel Duchamp and Pablo Picasso had been working with found objects for years prior to Dubuffet.
