C'est un lieu que j'aime particulièrement. En retrait de la plage de Saint Aygulf, ce lieu est une parenthèse dans la vie trépidante de la Côte d'Azur.
Les flamants roses y venaient il y a quelques années. Et puis, il y eu la crue de la rivière Argens, qui tua 27 personnes. Cette catastrophe flusha également les sédiments du fond des étangs de Villepey. Depuis la profondeur des étangs ne permet plus aux flamants de venir s'y alimenter. Cette image d'un temps passé rappelle les changements que nous vivons en permanence du fait la puissance de la nature.
Cette image est cependant plaisible, car ce lieu inspire cette quiétude naturellement.
