I enjoy painting surrealistic themes creating seeming madness on canvas, communicating with the viewer in the language of symbols, codes and figurative references about the unknown and subconscious.

Ghostly objects in my paintings, transparent creatures, apparent or real silhouettes, hallucinations are full-fledged elements of the pictorial language. Within my paintings there is no definition of what is reality and what is a dream. This is a living world filled with unknown creatures, fantasies. I consider all animals on the planet as an important part of ourselves and reflect my love and admiration for all living things and nature in my paintings.
Severed rhinoceros horn tied to a nail driven into a tree. Alive or dead rhino’s drinking water. There are many details and images that are not visible at first glance and if you look constantly you will see them. This is a reference to the influence of human beings on nature.
We probably will find out later what will be the costs of our desire to get quick profit. How comparable is the price of life and horns. The Northern white rhinos have recently become extinct in the wild.

This surreal landscape was created by me personally in February 2022 with a great care by quality oil colours at the natural pigments. This piece can be hung on its own without a frame since it is painted on sides of the canvas.
