Born in Paris 14, the artist LS, whose real name is Laurie SAVY, has had an appetite for drawing from a very young age.
His parents decided to return to Martinique a few years after his birth.
It was at the age of 7 that she drew her first fashion sketches; art would come and whisper in her ear a little later.
Of Martinican origin, her island of flowers inspires her enormously, between the translucent waters and the clear blue sky almost all year round, she dreams of the shade.
Her father has the habit of taking her, her sister and her mother on tours of the island, in the north and in the south, where aspirations and inspirations are born.
After her baccalaureate, she went to study in France. For her it was a milestone to pass, she moved into real estate after an internship in property management and stayed there for 8 years.
Until the age of 31, she followed the norms of society, creative at heart in office jobs and boredom, she made "beautiful escapes" during her free time.
She even wakes up at 4 a.m. to let her imagination run wild or to reproduce what she sees in a dream.
It was only at the age of 32 that his need to express himself took on one of the artistic forms of painting.
She tried several techniques and acrylic was the lucky winner.
She paints with her emotions, no matter her mood, she plays with colors whether they are pastels or shimmering, she cannot paint without colors.
The gold adds a pep to each painting, she sees there the touch that makes her work successful. This is one of the artistic touches of the artist LS.
His inspirations are graphic art and more. The visual artists whose work she finds incredible are Simon Berger and his art of breaking glass with a hammer and Bou Bou Design for his conception of the art of painting and drawing upside down with unusual objects.
She likes people to be able to imagine and interpret what they see in her works.
She has already embraced this form of expression for two years, she is celebrating her leather wedding in 2024, she hopes that it will last forever because each moment spent painting gives her inner peace and happiness.
