In recent months I have been painting under the spell of colors. As time passed, I thought that I would give space to strong contrasts in my artworks, such as the black an white. This is how my collection called “CONTRAST” was created. In which I break the dominance at black and white with a few pale colors.
Just like in my painting people are not just black and white. We often find extreme traits and contradictions in them, but diversity lies in everyone, if we look behind the scene.

Biography
Livien Rózen is a contemporary Slovak artist. Prior to her career as an artist, Livien's endeavors were primarily centered around the fashion industry and later transitioned into interior design. After fifteen years immersed in these fields, she found herself yearning for something new, something unknown. Driven by this desire, she made the courageous decision to relinquish her enterprise and leave her established life behind.
This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a transformative journey - a path of spiritual development and the pursuit of a deeper understanding of reality. Over time, Livien underwent numerous changes and experiences on this profound voyage of self-exploration. Yet, it was when she decided to cease her relentless search that she experienced a revelation. It was as if all she had sought for so long suddenly became clear.
Within the harmonious interplay of colors and forms, Livien discovered her true self. It became evident that his role was not to seek, but to allow reality to manifest itself through her. It was at this juncture that Livien embraced painting as his medium of self-expression.
Throughout her life, Livien has always aspired to perfection, yet she came to realize that true manifestation, aligned with the present moment and individuality, is inherently perfect in its own right. This realization continues to guide her artistic journey, where she allows the essence of reality to flow through her work, creating art that is not just beautiful but deeply resonant with the truth of the moment and the self.
