At 42 I lost everything, I was no match for a narcissistic manipulator, salvation for me was in flight. Star Trek has always been part of my life, I have long been seduced by this inclusive, tolerant universe, where honor and respect are omnipresent, utopian, certainly, but so comforting when you are in mode survive. During this period of difficult transition I managed to retain most of what I had accumulated from Star Trek.
I had to trade a big house for a studio, but I couldn't bring myself to completely give up my treasures. I collected some coroplast panels following the elections, it's a very light, super resistant and thin material, my 'tribute to Star Trek' paintings therefore saw the light of day after the destructuring of my collection, a long-term task but very exhilarating and therapeutic. The first painting I created was a tribute to its creator, Gene Roddenberry, this work and the following ones helped me find my bearings and a certain peace. It is with joy that I present them to you.
"Idic" means in the Star Trek Universe 'Infinite diversity for infinite combinations', that's all me! And as perceptive as you are, you will have guessed that it is of Vulcan origin!
I have a creative emergency, I am visually impaired and the prognosis is not good. is not very good for what remains of my vision, being able to share my creations comforts me and makes me happy.
With a clever mixture of coroplast, self-adhesive film and duck tape, I' I like to think that they are here to last, just like this marvelous intergalactic universe which has more than once given me something to hold on to life
