Lioshi is a contemporary French painter.
He creates paintings in acrylic, ink and oil on canvas. Between lyrical and figurative abstraction, his painting places great emphasis on pure bright colors.
Initially a follower of pastels, he turned to oil painting, the long drying times of which did not suit his intuitive, even instinctive way of bringing color to the canvas.
The intuitive aspect of his painting is preponderant, the colors arrive in successive layers, intertwine, overload each other before reaching a balance, not premeditated, but induced.
He exhibited his work in France in the mid-2000s and after a long break he resumed painting in 2022.
Lioshi was born on July 20, 1976 in France.
