Liliia Kucher is a documentary photographer. Her photography is influenced by her evolving response to memories of traumatic events in her early life.

Daydreaming and imagination became a haven for her, and she developed an increased sensitivity to the positive moments in her life. Her work is inspired by personal experiences, places, and people. Memory, loss, family, longing, fantasy, and the healing power of nature are all recurring themes in her work.

Liliia Kucher is a documentary photographer based based between Kyiv and Lisbon. In 2017, she began working in photography. She graduated from the University of the Arts London with a degree in photojournalism and documentary photography. She has exhibited in numerous venues throughout the United Kingdom and has been recognized with several awards (This-Ability Photography Award, finalist, 2018, selected as one of Aesthetica's 10 Next Generation Award nominees, August 2021...).
