I was born in Bernalda in the province of Matera and from early childhood I lived in Turin, where I studied and obtained my artistic maturity at the II Liceo Artistico. I currently live and work in Pont Saint Martin. My artistic activity is carried out "under the banner of pictorial research and where the drawing is of a graphic matrix, accepted as a requirement of figuration. Hence the search for a precise sign in the compositional conception of space" (Antonio Oberti - Italian Art for the World). The conception of the paintings is based exclusively on a precise theme, taken from a phrase by Paramahansa Yogananda "Do not become a slave to things or bad habits", which lead me to certain subjects, even if not explicitly, "to a compositional conception almost on a surreal level, seeking effects of lights and shadows, diffuse veils, a symbolism that imposes itself as a philosophy of life. Hence the balance of all the parts of the compositions, the chromatic brilliance proposed in large breaths of spaces and volumes and the juxtaposition of light and dark that establish a bridge between the absolute dimensional reality of the subjects represented and the authentic meaning of existence”(Antonio Oberti - Italian Art for the World). I prefer to work in oil and on canvas or wooden boards. I am present on the encyclopedia "Italian Art for the World".
