Lena Ash – interdisciplinary artist and independent curator, based in Berlin (Germany). After building a successful career in the aerospace industry, Lena took a transformative leap to pursue her singular, true passion: becoming an Artist. After graduating from the British High School of Art and Design she continued her art education with NODE Center of Curatorial Studies by completing the "International Curatorial Program". 

Through a feminist prism, her works challenge and confront prevailing interpretations, boldly critiquing the patriarchal structures that have long shadowed society. Every piece she crafts stands as a rebuke to an age-old patriarchal system that has marginalised women for centuries. But it's not just the message, it's the medium.

Rooted deeply in the principles of conceptualism, each choice she makes—be it material, technique, or form—intentionally bolsters the thematic essence of the work. Dancing between experimentation and precision, between form and content, shapes her art, making every piece an assertion, a statement, and a testament to resilience, critique, and hope.

In 2020, Lena Ash founded 2chairs artspace – an independent virtual and nomadic project space – to support artists whose paths to the canvas have been as unconventional as hers.
